Neuropsychological Assessment

Dr. Grima specializes in diagnosing cognitive impairments and brain injuries resulting from neurological, psychiatric, developmental, or acquired conditions. With over a decade of experience, she has worked with a wide range of conditions, including:

Decision Making Capacity Assessments

Dr. Grima provides specialized assessments to determine whether a cognitive disability affects an individual’s ability to make informed financial, medical, or lifestyle decisions, such as choosing between aged care placement or remaining at home.

She also conducts assessments to evaluate testamentary capacity, determining an individual’s ability to create or amend their will.

Comprehensive decision-making capacity (DMC) reports can be prepared to support applications to VCAT or other relevant legal proceedings.

Sleep and Fatigue Management

Dr. Grima has extensive experience diagnosing and treating sleep disorders such as insomnia, shift work disorder, and delayed sleep phase disorder (DSPD). Using cognitive-behavioral and acceptance and commitment therapy frameworks, she applies gold-standard treatments to improve sleep.

She also specializes in managing sleep and fatigue disorders following traumatic brain injuries and stroke, having served as a clinician in a world-first clinical trial at Monash University for patients with acquired brain injuries.
